Dear Sir,
I read with horror the letter in your periodical asking for the ban on lion soccer to be lifted.
I have twice visited the Regents Park Lion Soccer Stadium and on both occasions I unhappily saw several spectators have to run for their lives when the lions lost interest in the football game and began sizing up the crowd for their lunch.
Lions are just not suited to playing soccer.
May I suggest that they are encouraged to play baseball instead. I feel that is a much more leonine sport.
